About me

I am a Chartered and Clinical Child Psychologist based in Edinburgh and offering services within the city and throughout Scotland.

I gained my Ph.D. in psychology from the University of St. Andrews in 1997 and my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Canterbury Christ Church University in 2002.  During my clinical doctorate I specialised in working with children and adolescents.

Having previously worked in the NHS, I now work independently  offering assessment and therapy services to children and adolescents as well as consultation to their parents.  I also act as an expert witness in cases in involving children and families.

I have previously provided consultation to private foster agencies, sat on fostering panels, and provided input to the Judicial Studies training in both England and Scotland in relation to vulnerable witnesses, adolescence, historical child sexual abuse, child alienation, and post adoption contact.

I am chartered by and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, and registered with the Health & Care Professions Council.

Under section headings on this website, please find full details of the services I offer, information on how to make a referral and contact details.
