Court assessments:
I now have over 16 years experience providing Court appointed or solicitor/local authority instructed reports. I have provided over 500 reports and have appeared in person in front of Children's Panels/Hearings, Sheriff Court, High Court and Court of Session.
My experience to date as an expert witness includes assessment of children and reports relating to:
1. Child views and best interests (e.g. following parental separation or in Hague Convention Cases)
2. Contact and residence arrangements following divorce and separation.
3. Adoption and Permanence Orders, including contact arrangements.
4. Trauma (including RTA) (also see Medico-legal).
5. Assessment of witness vulnerabilities and the need for special measures.
6. Fitness to plead and vulnerable witness assessments (child and adult).
I have been vetted and listed on the UK Register of Expert Witnesses, plus have a listing on the BPS Register of Expert Witnesses.
